BLOODCARE spray is a non sterile highly efficient haemostat based on hydrogen calcium salt of oxidised cellulose.

BLOODCARE spray is an aerosol form of local haemostatic preparation BLOODCARE powder. It is formed by solid particles of the haemostat based on hydrogencalcium salt of oxidised cellulose and pressurised propellant.

It provides fluent spraying to cover the injured site evenly and regularly.

The haemostatic effect of BLOODCARE spray is almost immediate, the full haemostasis is achieved by 2 minutes after application.

Special characteristics

  • the active substance has proven bactericidal and bacteriostatic features against a wide range of gram positive and gram negative organisms, due to the presence of carboxyl groups
  • due to its ability to regulate the activity of fagocytes, it brings an effective support in healing process by protecting the site against development of secondary toxic effects
  • due to the content of Ca2+ ions and their assumed blocking effect, a partial pain relief in the site is observed without the need for local aneastetics
  • the pressurised form allows to use only the amount needed with an even and regular layer
